Young Braves are an alternative rock band hailing from Shropshire. After support slots with the likes of The Sherlocks and The Amazons in 2017, the band has been working on new material in preparation to make 2018 their biggest year to date. With influences including Pixies, Foals, Radiohead and Kings of Leon, their sound is catchy, exciting and explosive.

This headline show is in celebration of the release of the second single taken from new EP ‘Hunters’.

East London fourpiece SHINERS have announced the release of their debut EP Now on limited edition hand-painted 7inch plus new single I Love the Girl, available from 18th May.

I Love the Girl opens with a crunching guitar riff worthy of Royal Blood, exploding into a chorus of shimmering guitars, driving psych keyboards and a solo that channels Graham Coxon at his most anguished. Fronted by singer Jamie Delaney, the band yelp, plead and harmonise their way through this tongue-in-cheek ode to unrequited love over a takeaway coffee, giving the world a true urban ballad for the 21st century.

Touring the UK continually since the Now EP’s digital release last November, SHINERS have played packed headline shows at London’s Sebright Arms and Camden Assembly. In 2018 they’ve been selected to perform at this year’s The Great Escape Festival in Brighton, on the TicketWeb stage at The Prince Albert on Friday 18th May.

Brought together from four obscure corners of the Midlands, and through a mutual affection for 90s video games, 80s music, good pizza and awful horror films, South Ghost clash eras and genres into a raucous indie-pop sound with electrifying synth and power-pop vocals.
A bit like if Tegan and Sara had two punk brothers. Or if WHAM! had played in your basement. Or like a cassette from 1987 that your parents converted into an mp3.
They are currently writing their second EP, due out this year.
