**PLEASE NOTE: This a late show. Approx stage times: 9.30pm Sugar, 10.30pm The Bombergs, 11.30pm Jaws, 12.30am Wolf Alice**

North London’s Wolf Alice are set for an extensive run of UK live dates to coincide with brand new single ‘Bros’ which will be released on Chess Club Records on 20th May 2013.

‘Fluffy’, the band’s recent single, was received to rapturous acclaim, finding Wolf Alice touted as one of the finest acts around today. Founded on its gloriously twisted take on rock and backed by the touching ‘White Leather’ on its flipside, the band found themselves topping the Hype Machine charts, in BBC Radio One sessions with Huw Stephens and championed by magazines such as NME, The Fly and Clash as one of the ones to watch for 2013. With the release of ‘Bros’ and this new run of dates, soon the joyfully infectious nature of all things Wolf Alice will be impossible to ignore.

“In Ellie Rowsell, Wolf Alice have a completely transfixing frontwoman, and one who seems blissfully unaware of her onstage magnetism” – NME

Plus support from JAWS

Ending 2012 on a high note with the success of their singles ‘Toucan Surf’ and ‘Surround You’, accompanied by a flurry of accolades for their lush garage pop, young Birmingham four piece JAWS entered the year with four sold out shows across the UK with fellow B-towners Swim Deep and a packed headline show at London’s Old Blue Last & Birmingham’s Hare & Hounds.

Showcasing the rounding-out and maturation of their sound, latest single ‘Friend Like You’ revels in shimmering guitars, beaconing synths and a simultaneously uplifting and poignantly bittersweet refrain – a glowing distilment of grungey pop through an open-air haze. Along with b-side ‘Breeze’, the single is also included in an accompanying bumper EP release, titled Milkshake, that rounds up the bands previous singles presenting both an impressive summation of their output thus far and a firm indication of an even brighter year ahead.

Along with support from THE BOMBERGS

Inspired by their own inertia and a sense of dislocation, The Bombergs make abrasive pop music informed by a love of DIY punk sounds and New York disco culture. Their live performances are either triumphant or utterly shambolic but the fact they’re unpredictable is part of the draw. Catch them now before the rot sets in.

As well as opening support from SUGAR

“They might only have a few gigs under their collective belts, but they’ve already garnered a fair amount of hype. With no tracks online, and in a city that’s bursting at the seams with new music, it’s a pretty impressive feat. They wowed the crowd with delectable melodies, performing their set with no small amount of graceful ease, earning themselves the admiration and support of the room in the process” – Counteract Magazine
