THE PINES+ LAKE ACACIA

The Pines are a Birmingham/Dudley based 3 piece indie band with influences such as Oasis, The Beatles, Arctic Monkeys, Catfish and the bottlemen etc. We have that classic indie sound but with originality been we only play originals, previously showcased in venues such as the sunflower lounge, o2 institute and academy3, the victoria, the castle and falcon, the hummingbird and many more. We are expecting to have our debut single out in May.

LAKE ACACIA are a fresh-faced alt-rock band hailing from Oxford consisting of Adam Budd, Lead Vocals & Guitar. Tim Groethe, Bass & BV’s and Joe Homer, Drums & BV’s. Having formed in 2016, they wasted no time in anonymity and got straight to it, playing renowned venues such as the O2 Academy, Oxford; The Fleece, Bristol; O2 Institute, Birmingham and many more with bigger shows on the horizon.

Their diverse style made up of heavy riffs and delicate three-part harmonies mixed with their consistent wild energy and engagement during live performances make a huge impact at every show which is where the songs really come into their own.

Debut EP ‘Figure Frame’ was released September 2017 and earned them a name for well-crafted, multi-dimensional music. Since the release, the tracks ‘Hold Fast’ and ‘Self Restraint’ have been featured on BBC Introducing numerous times.

LAKE ACACIA’s second EP ‘Broken Circuits’ is a step further into their contrasting heavy rock sound using a more thought out and artistic approach to their songwriting and is due to be fully released June 2019 with singles and videos coming out throughout the year promising more riff filled alt-rock goodness.
