THE LITTLE EASY BAND+ BLUE NATION + SLEEP PATTERNS + IDLE PILOTS SOCIETY

The Little Easy Band kicked off their career headlining a popular Worcestershire music festival in the summer of 2018. Shortly afterwards the band landed in the acclaimed Parr Street Studios in Liverpool to craft their first release ‘I’m So Tired’. The soulful, authentic British R&B is reminiscent of late 60s & early 70s British rock infused with a strong Stax and Muscle Shoals influence, delivering a purposeful nod to the sound of the records that inspired the band.

The debut single hit online stores in December 2018 and The Little Easy Band will be hitting the live scene in 2019 with a 2nd follow up release coming in January 2019.

Blue Nation draw from a reservoir of influences including Cream, Zeppelin, The Beatles and more recently Rival Sons and Vintage Trouble to name a few. The new album The Kaftan Society has been in the making for over a year whilst the band toured with the likes of Skid Row, Dirty Thrills, Steve Conte (NY Dolls) and Brian Downey’s Alive & Dangerous (Thin Lizzy’s original Drummer)

Frontman Neil Murdoch explains; The album came together naturally, it took about 3 months to write and then we spent a year perfecting the songs in the studio with Alex Vine of AVR Music. The title “The Kaftan Society” is a direct link to us. It’s about being who you are, and not being scared of what people think and feel about you. Standing up for love and dismissing any form of hate. The album has so many different themes running through it, we wanted people to be able to relate to the songs and feel like it’s for them.

Sleep Patterns‘ melodic indie style is characterised by dreamy, reverb-drenched guitar and vocals, eccentric lyrics and infectious drumbeats. The trio’s debut EP Flesh&Blood is a quietly uncomfortable acoustic record, and this is to be followed by a full band single, recorded at the legendary Magic Garden studio in Wolverhampton, later this year.
