In a world where the times are hard, the music is faux and everything is airbrushed there comes a resistance. A resistance to the false, to the mundane and to the flawless.

Sometimes you need a dose of the real and that is what BLVFF strive to deliver; not on a silver platter, mind.

The band carry an authentic ethos throughout their music and subsequent offerings. Debut single “Where Do We Go Wrong” had the makings of an instant indie classic. Follow up “Shame” showcased the bands emotive Nick Cave-esque storytelling over the backdrop of a precisely painted overture. The former received support from This Feeling, Amazing Radio, Fred Perry, Born Music Online, Indie Central and Little Indie Blogs, as well as clocking up more than 40k organic Spotify plays. This along with support slots with the likes of Milburn, Cassia and a sold out hometown and Great Escape shows ,set the tone for the bands first year in existence.

The band now return with new single “Crystal Ball”. The track shoots straight from the hip, with a driving riff built for the airwaves, that initially creeps from the cracks, before directing your body into frenzied manoeuvres, to their marching tune, that you’ll do well to remove from memory.

For the single the band have signed to indie label These Bloody Thieves home to upcoming acts such as The Howlers, False Heads and Feral Family. McCann believes it’s the right move for the quintet.

The band have also been booked to play Coombe Weekender in Coventry August 3 alongside the likes of The Libertines, Tom Grennan and more. The band see it as a privilege to represent their hometown in their own backyard.
