Combining a slacker persona with a distinctive fusion of originality and homage, Phil Madeley’s music is born of equal parts disdain and anger for the current state of play. Wrapped up in his laid-back, Neil Young meets Jamie T, grit-edged soft rock, are the pressing and serious issues of present-day alienation, loneliness and mistrust, resulting in songs that want to offer as much refuge as they do commentary.

Having cut his teeth as a solo performer, his commanding live act is captivating and exciting, drawing comparisons of Jarvis Cocker. Phil has shared bills with other notable up and comers such as Sugarthief and Violet, leading to live shows which drum up the clout they deserve. On the back of sessions at RAK studios, his long awaited debut single ‘21st Century Witch-hunt’ will be released 31st May.

George Pannell is an exciting young musician from Birmingham. His dreamy indie-pop sound incorporates influences from fellow Brummies JAWS and Swim Deep, as well as the likes of The Stone Roses and Nirvana.

George has already played all around Birmingham over the last 6 months, including support slots at the O2 Academy, and is now ready for his first headline show.

Now backed by a full band, he plans to release his debut EP over the summer, which will contain tracks with a slightly heavier, more grungy feel to them than his first two singles ‘The Truth’ and ‘Royal Affair’.
