Formed in August 2018, lilleburn are a Birmingham based indie pop duo comprised of Ross Tidmus and Tom James. Taking influence from 80’s alterative acts such as The Cure, Tears For Fears and Gary Newman, then mixing it with their love for modern pop sounds and the personal lyrics from the mind of Ross, to form a fresh, artsy style of their own. They spent the summer of 2018 writing, recording and self producing their energetic music. Releasing their debut single ‘Boys/Girls/Hearts’ on September 30th of 2018, getting them played multiple times on BBC Coventry and Warwickshire. Shortly after they supported BLOXX on a sold out show in Birmingham, establishing lilleburn in the indie scene. In December they had their first headline show; which was almost sold out. In conjunction to the headline show lilleburn released ‘Tell Me I’m Pretty’ which was picked my more local radio stations and gain them more fans. ‘Tell Me I’m Pretty’ was also put on the A-list of BRUM Radio with the likes of JAWS and Jorja Smith.
