Bristol based multi-instrumentalist Laura Kidd presents band and solo sets previewing brand new songs plus music from her back catalogue, celebrating the release of ‘Stargazing’, the last single from her latest album Direction Of Travel.

It’s been a busy couple of years for the Bristol based polymath, taking in two German tours, a universally acclaimed one-woman show at Edinburgh Fringe (“a charming hour of biographical storytelling and music…perfectly executed acoustic gems” – The List), support tours with Carina Round, Duke Special and The Levellers, two UK headline tours, dates with The Brian Jonestown Massacre, tUnE-yArDs, Gruff Rhys, New Model Army and Pretty Vicious, a plethora of festival slots including Larmer Tree & Dot To Dot and the recording and release of the Disarm:15 EP (December 2015) and third album Direction Of Travel (April 2016).

Plus support from LUCKLESS

Luckless is the Berlin-based, New Zealand originated project of Ivy Rossiter. Based around solo vocals over a 1960s Silvertone electric guitar and hypnotic and dynamic live looping, the sound is poised somewhere between the ethereal haze of indie folk and the propulsive drive of alt-rock.

Drawing inspiration from 90’s heroes PJ Harvey, Mark Lanegan and Sparklehorse, Luckless released second album Vindication Blues in 2014. Luckless is currently based in Berlin, working on material for a new record.
