Appeal has been made RE the demolition of The Flapper

One of the remaining grass-root music venues, The Flapper, is once again under threat by a property development company with plans to demolish the building for yet another erection of apartments.

Despite Birmingham City Council refusing an application to demolish the 50-year-old city music venue, Will Adams of Whitehorse Estates is pressing ahead with the appeal of the decision.

The public support for the venue to remain a venue, and not a block of flats, has been vital in the past. But, the battle is not over yet.

To support the venue be sure to sign THIS PETITION HERE.
