S. T. Manville releases single ‘Make Believe’

After the recent release of his debut covers album ‘Somebody Else’s Songs’ that clocked up over 200k streams in 5 weeks, S.T. Manville follows up with his first release of original material.

S.T. Manville will play with AESTHETICS on Saturday 10th August 2019 at The Cuban Embassy Birmingham. Tickets are available here.

‘Make Believe’ is a lament to childhood, about the longing for a simpler time, epitomised when Manville sings “We spent our childhood wishing we were big, and now all we want is to be little kids”. Continuing to cement Manville’s unique emotional folk style the simple arrangement leaves space for his poignant lyrics and heartbreaking delivery to shine through. The accompanying video was made from a mixture of home VHS footage and performance, and stars Manville’s own daughter.

The last month has seen Manville garner high praise from i-d magazineBBC IntroducingKerrang! Radio and numerous blogs as well as performances at Dot to Dot Festival and Handmade Festival.
