Siblings to play free show at The Yardbird

February 6, 2013 in News

Derbyshire four piece Siblings released their latest ‘Colours’/’Hold Fast’ single on December 10th via Carbon Logic Records, and take to the road in February for a string of UK dates including a free entry show at Birmingham’s The Yardbird.

Both ‘Colours’ and ‘Hold Fast’ reflect the amped up sound developed in their live shows; mandolins are routed through pedals, Bobby’s guitar leans surf-wise and the bass glows with 60s tone and a snap in its step not heard on their previous EP. Left untouched are the four part harmonies that have drawn so much attention already. These boys can seriously sing and it shines through on this record brighter than ever.

“Glorious 4-part harmonies worthy of Fleet Foxes and voraciously catchy afro-pop beats, the shimmering acoustic sway ‘Summers End’ is a definite festival highlight” – Counterfeit Magazine 2012

SIBLINGS PLAY THE YARDBIRD BIRMINGHAM WITH ROBERT LANE, DAVID GARSIDE, BRAINS FOR BREAKFAST & ANDY JONES ON SUN 24TH FEBRUARY 2013. FREE ENTRY, MORE INFO HERE.
