With touring season well under way, take a read of the local and touring acts Birmingham Promoters bring to your city this week.
Take a couple of days off to prepare for Birmingham four-piece Black Dollar Bills who play The Sunflower Lounge on Thursday. Drawing comparisons to Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Dead Weather and The Vines, Black Dollar Bills promise a night of power and energy. With support from Brighton’s hottest new two-piece Royal Blood, plus locals Bad Moon & Curb, we expect this to be a busy one! On Friday, Bristol trop-pop five-piece Coasts call into The Victoria as part of their UK tour. With support from off-kilter funk six-piece Venkman and dark pop West Midlands outfit Forest Life, tickets are priced at £5 advance and are available here.

If you fancy a little jaunt out to Wolverhampton, then West Yorkshire’s finest The Pigeon Detectives play live at The Slade Rooms. Showcasing the best of four albums-worth of material, this promises to be a lively ruckus of a show.
