Introducing: Boxed In

His experiences of playing live with Keith mean he’s dedicated to recording and playing his music live, with no samplers or backing tracks. His intention with Boxed In live is to emulate the propulsion of a fully electronic set up using acoustic instruments and the flexibility of human touch.

Teleman play Hare & Hounds Birmingham tonight!

October 21, 2014 in News

Following a remarkable Birmingham show back in May, we’re delighted to be welcoming Teleman back to the Hare & Hounds on Tues 21st October.

The group are rapidly growing in stature since the release of debut album Breakfast on via Moshi Moshi back in June, with heavy radio support and a number of 6Music live sessions for Marc Riley, plus supports with the likes of Suede, Franz Ferdinand, and Metronomy.

The album, produced by Bernard Butler, has variety in abundance, from the pared-back ‘Cristina’ and the modernist proposition of ‘Steam Train Girl’, to the sax-drenched ‘Lady Low’.
