Birmingham based indie four-piece Riscas announce their debut single launch party at The Sunflower Lounge. Recently named as BBC Radio 1 Introducing ‘Artist of the Week’, the band charted 4th on Spotify‘s most viral UK tracks in March, after releasing their first demo ‘Panic Like Tom’.

The band channel spritely indie-rock sentimentality with a tropical edge. The result is a seamless concoction of influences including the wriggling rhythms of Vampire Weekend and Two Door Cinema Club, the euphoric, festival ready choruses of The Maccabees and the anecdotal earworms of The 1975.

Having supported the likes of ClayHigh Tyde and The Assist, and amassing 20,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, the band show no sign of stopping. Receiving praise from Greg James and Scott Mills, Riscas are taking the country by storm.
