Twin drum kits, two guitars, four voices, a bass, keys and a sweltering, sultry, swaggering style come together to form Money For Rope, dealers in an honest, electric, deep, raw brand of rock music that must be felt to be believed. With their public-bar rise propelled by word-of-mouth whisperings, 7” releases and an energetic, swirling live show that seethes with energy, Money For Rope released their much-anticipated self-titled full-length recording in November 2012, taking their pulsing sound from dark stages to stereos right across the globe.

Playing a range of venues and festivals (Splendour, Cherry Rock, Golden Plains, Gumball), the Melbourne-based quintet continue building on a reputation of balls-out performances that transform quiet crowds into rollicking masses show after show after show. By day these boys are talking about the footy, going fishing and working their day jobs, but trade-out their pint glasses for instruments and you’ve got a recipe for chaotic, ambling musical mayhem tied together by harmonies and driven by the spirit of rock.

Plus opening support from MILLBROOK

At the beginning of 2015, at an age when many bands take their first steps on the local and national gig circuit, Birmingham band Millbrook found themselves with a wealth of experience, but it was clear that influences and their own maturity had significantly changed their style of music.

Newly forming as a 3 piece with Eddie (Guitar / Vocals), Rohan (Bass / Vocals) and Tom (Drums) they put their own take on the sound of old skool country and blues. Their haunting first single ‘Voyager’ is an insight into what they can do.
