Following the release of their remarkable debut album Be Slowly, and their sold out hometown headline show at The Institute, Birmingham quartet JAWS announce a very special intimate FREE ENTRY show this Sunday at a secret location.

The past year and a half has seen this young four-piece churn out a steady and impressive output of hook-laden and immersive hazy garage pop, from singles ‘Donut’ and ‘Surround You’ to ‘Friend Like You’, ‘Stay In’ and ‘Gold, all now staunch live favourites. It has seen them record a live session for Huw Stephens at Radio 1, guest on the Phil Taggart & Alice Levine show and play a succession of headline shows around the UK.

In order to be within the chance of winning tickets for you and a friend, please email comp@jawsjawsjaws.co.uk with the email subject ‘Free Show’. Entrants must be 14 or over, and under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult in order to gain entry.

More details about the event will be released later on this week, so stay tuned for more info… GOOD LUCK!

Plus support from CLAY

Clay are four lads from Leeds that have been together for 5 months and have already received huge Radio 1 support. Their debut track was made one of Zane Lowe’s last ever Next Hype’s and also received plays from Huw Stephens, Phil Taggart and XFM.

The band release their single ‘Oxygen’ on June 22nd, a track that Clash have already described as “an immediately infectious piece of music, matching crisp vocals against pounding beats. Slick pop to file alongside, Jungle. It also contains just a hint of the early 90s – think the wide open grin of ‘Screamdelica’ and you’d be close”.

Plus opening support from CHARTREUSE

Having recently been featured in BrumNotes ‘Top Tips for 2015′, the Birmingham four piece are in for big things. Their music can be described as a mix of laid-back indie that meets soul-pop, altogether creating a Californian-inspired sound.
