“Not since Jonathan Richman has there been a songwriter so willing to convey honest and deep feelings through the most basic pop syntax” – Pitchfork

“One of the greats of our generation” – Drowned In Sound

Christopher Owens has announced a short string of intimate solo shows across the UK, his first since the release of this year’s Chrissybaby Forever album. The tour will call at Hare & Hounds Birmingham on Mon 30th November.

Considered as one of the best songwriters of a generation for his solo work and that with his previous band, the critically lauded Girls, this tour provides opportunity for fans to hear the defining songs of Christopher’s career to date, stripped back and at their honest, vulnerable best.
