Liverpool’s The Vryll Society have been locked away in their hazy rehearsal space creating and bringing together their wonderful sound. After long days of liquid jams, and crafted songwriting, interlaced with touches of Funkadelic and Aphrodites Child, a rich ocean of sound has come to the surface. Oh yes! Hail the space rockers of the future.
Described as breathing new life into Liverpool’s venerated Deltasonic Records (The Coral, The Zutons) by the NME, their debut single ‘Deep Blue Skies’ has received widespread attention, following support slots with the likes of Peace, Ariel Pink and Blossoms.
”The Vryll Society have successfully woven Pink Floyd ambience with the sad tension of Echo and the Bunnymen” - The Tipping Point
“Whirling riffs… driving, kraut-psych rhythms take control and kaleidoscopic bursts of texture flash atop the spine to enthralling effect” - Get Into This
THE VRYLL SOCIETY PLAY THE SUNFLOWER LOUNGE BIRMINGHAM ON WED 7TH OCTOBER 2015. TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE HERE FROM 9AM ON FRI 17TH JULY.
